Oh yes, just wait till JTMM start gaining momentum to demand for their own terai country. We have already set up one fine example already by giving in to maoists arms and weapon, why would armed JTMM just like maoists (pending india's blessing) settle for anything less??

Guess this is the price we need to pay for being known as people willing to do whatever it takes for peace to prevail....but I wish we wouldn't have let our peace loving nature become our weakness.

it will be bit hard for jttm hukka, coz maoist fight was solely directed against government, here jttm is fighting against government and people from hill. above that they r minority in population. Its like " pani ma basera gohi sanga dusmani line ". Wait until people start to retaliate, they will be pushed back to india. The only problem is they will create a sort of ethnic unrest and give room for maoist to take advantage of.

ritthe_jasus, my friend, terai people are close 40% of the population and that data is based on official numbers which was prior to the new citizenship law. now give it a few more years and you will see number wise terai people will be of majority and trust me we are now in a "democratic" society where majority rule...so i wouldn't hold my hopes high on pushing them back to india but rather will keep my fingers corssed that they won't make us all part of india itself.

even though terai population is 40%, out of 40 there r many from hills too who migrated to terai, most of the bazar area are filled with pahadis. before bringing the fight to hills, there will be opposition with in terai first jusi like in nepalgunj. As for the future how their population will swell I have no openion.
