pulled my hamstring
i usually play basketball and then lift weights, yesterday nyte i went the other way round and while running i think it is the hamstring that i pulled, it did pain terribly at that partickler moment but the pain subsided later and i managed to play a few minutes more
i did not even treat it with ice yesterday night before i slept
today it is almost impossible for me to run and a touch at that spot is painful, is there any thing like medication anyone can recommend or am i fine with ice?

for acute phase like a day after injury, you shuold do ice , protection, rest, and elevation. i ce for first 48-72 hours 15-20 minutes every 2-3 hours if you can.
