I'v a strange case.I was in H1 and my company had filed green card for me .My lawyer had withdrawn I 485 in 2005 as RFE was issued to prove the affiliation between two companies which I worked during that time(it's same company but different branch).I didn't know why but my company decided to withdraw my RFE and sent me to germany for 22 months and brought me back again in L1.Now they are filing my green card again .While signing my I 485 I saw that they have marked NO to the question Have u ever filed green card before?I feel uncomfortable in this,My question is :Is it considered as not filed for permanent residency if I 485 is withdrawn?
I'll really appreciate IF U help me in this matter.I'v already suffered in this green card chakker careerwise and don't want to suffer more.
THANKYOU

The term "withdrawal" is used in the context where a petition is pending with the USCIS and not yet approved. An employer or an applicant may request a withdrawal in cases where there is no final decision on the petition or application. After the approval of a petition, the employer may only request that the petition be revoked.

Therefore, a withdrawn application does not have a locus standi.
