i was there during 1997-2001 during my Bachelors...

I was there in Ascol, too. Sweet memories of overly crowded class duirng I.Sc.- 93 & 94 relatively little crowd in B.Sc 95 & 96. I still love the ambience of campus, makes me nostalgic. Hard to forget when we were about to be arrested for raising donation out on that busy road for our all India Tour.

Count me in. I was in 1985-1987(??) batch if I'm not mistaken. A few names I personally knew then were Saroj Acharya (Campus top), Suraj Aryal (Board 3# in SLC), Rajan Lan Pradhan (Board 1st in SLC), Janardan Gautam (i guess he is still in Russia and now a millionaire in $$), Kishor Pant and his brother Anil Pant, Prabhat Chetri, Bhusan (??) etc

I have lost contact with all of them. Any help finding them will be appreciated

me (physical group, Day), Nepali Kanchha and Nector are from the same batch I guess. I joined ASCOL in Shrawan/Bhadra of 2049 BS..

i am physical morning, we used to have lots of fun....

so mr panyan, wasn't that khadka sir for chemistry....... i used to go some time during day...... it was kool but i did like morning better.

The Ascol environment is not changed still but the we people are in different environments.....
This used to be since long histry and our brothers now are following the same......
So we are great what we have taught to our precendents....

kanchha, i don't recall those days much, but i know one Sigdel and BC Bajracharya teaching us Math, one Punjabi madam (tall and bit fat) teaching us English, Kiran Bajracharya teaching chemistry, ..

next thing, there was a coaching center at Thahity chowk run by Madan Sakya, (who became the campus chief during our second year of study) and i also joined that center in first year.

I was taught by all of those teachers you named above. They are still there. Kiran Bajracharya used to hold a testtube and ask us to show how to shake it. We were wrong the first time etc Kiran Bajracharya actually had won to study in the US but rejected it... is too rich, man and a lonely son.

ISC. Batch of '93-'94(SLC 048)

I'm Bio evening. Do you guys remember they had evening session too? Do you remember student body union president, he forced campus to have this evening session? Do you guys also noticed the fact that out of 4000+ first divison in SLC, about 2500 applied in Ascol alone, presumably most of them with first divison? It was crazy then. Campus area filled with all fresh students, beautiful girls too. Boy, that was some event.

Yes Yes, I remember that Punjabi mam teaching english. I loved that class. And, do u guys also remember Mrs. Robin Sharma(forgot name) who also taught english.

मेरा पुराना दिनहरु याद आयो यो धागो हेर्दा् । हुन त मे रो अनुभव पन्चायत कालको हो तर पनि ताजै भए जस्तो लागछ। उहि टायर बाल्ने, सडक बन्द गर्ने। जादा जादै म ४४-४७ को ISc ४८-५० को BSc समुह को परे।

megdadela: yes, Kiran sir was cool and i like BC sir most among all of them.

and Ne-ctor, yes I remember that there was a only one section running in the evening becasue of too much load of student application in our batch. kumar gurung and ananta rai were some of the student leaders of the time.

current leader of ne.bi. sang--pradeep paudel was also from our batch, became president of studnet wing of ne. bi. sang on the second year, and later elected as president of studnet union, but was not allowed to work in the office by akhil's studnets.
