Looks more like US Defence Department (or "Pentagon") building . Or to be accurate, somebody might call it "Octagon" that sprang out in the middle of Nepali farmlands.

yeah you r right Neta jee!!!......... it is OCTAGON ......... but two mistakes....... One is it NOT just sprang out but was constructed within 2 years....... Next, it is not only farmland, but the place is one of nepal's best municipality

yeah u r right, thats constructed before 2001. and the latest development is pharmacy block just behind old engg building, the same in size. the main engg building is also started.
well, overall rating in all aspects looks like to be a good university, at least in nepal........ say similar to any 3-tier univ. of us. I have celebrated this new millennium in ku.

Good Idea but badly implemented Octagon! Where are the fire exits? I pray that it wont happen but if there is a fire then lord bless those students!

well,...........it is actually hollow octagon, not the solid one......... as a matter of fact, there is two badminton courts inside the octagon and there are 4 exits from 4 different corners of octagon.
Here's how it looks from inside

Inside is even worse! Just 4 exits? Do those exits lead directly to outside or converge to one?

No fire exits means people inside will be "roasted" if not "barbequed" at least.
