काठमाडौं, साउन ७ - बालुवाटारमा असार २ गते सार्वजनिक हुँदा माओवादी अध्यक्ष प्रचण्ड र नेता डा. बाबुराम भट्टराई खरानी रङको सुती कपडामा देखिए । धेरैले अडकल काटे- बारम्बार उत्पन्न मतभेदलाई ओझेलमा पार्न एउटै पहिरन लगाए । कतिको ठम्याइरह्यो- माओवादी नेताहरूको पनि 'युनिर्फम' रहेछ ।अन्य कार्यक्रम र भेटवार्तामा पनि उनीहरूको पोसाक फेरिएन । असार ३१ गते गोदावरी वार्तामा प्रचण्ड र बाबुराम मात्र होइन माओवादीका विशेष केन्द्रीय कमान्ड इन्चार्ज एवं डिपुटी कमान्डर वर्षमान पुन -अन्ान्त) पनि त्यस्तै पहिरनमा देखिए ।जेठ अन्तिम साता प्रचण्ड र बाबुराम कास्कीको सिकलेसबाट पोखरा झरेका थ्ािए । सिकलेसमै रहँदा गृहमन्त्री कृष्ण सिटौला र कांग्रेसका शेखर कोइरालासँगको भेटवार्तामा काठमाडौं जाने पक्कापक्की भएपछि यी दुवै नेताबीच पहिरनबारे छलफल भएको थियो । निचोडमा खरानी रङको कपडा लगाउने निधो भयो । पोखरास्थित एक टेलरमा अर्डर गरी सिलाउन लगाइयो । खरानी रङ बाबुरामभन्दा पनि प्रचण्डको छनोट थियो । प्रचण्ड यसअघि पनि प्रायः यस्तै रङका लुगा लगाउँथे ।माओले लगाउने कोट पनि यस्तैमा हरियोको मात्रा केही बढी थियो । स्रोतका अनुसार गोदावरी वार्ताका बेला अनन्तलाई पोसाक सिलाउन न्युरोडस्थित एक टेलरका प्रतिनिधि प्रचण्ड र बाबुराम बस्ने राजधानीकै एक होटलमा बोलाइएको थियो । त्यसक्रममा प्रचण्ड र भट्टराईले पनि नाप दिएर पोसाक सिलाए । तीन नेताले सिलाएको देखेपछि तत्काल केन्द्रीय सचिव अमर शर्मा, तेस्रो डिभिजन कमान्डर विविध, सहकमान्डर सञ्जीव र कमान्ड सचिव सरलले समेत अर्डर गरे ।माओवादी नेताका पोसाकबारे धेरैका अनुमान मिल्दोजुल्दो भएको स्रोतले बतायो । 'वैशाख अन्तिम साता भारतमा सम्पन्न्ा केन्द्रीय समितिको विशेष बैठकद्वारा पारित पहिरनमा एकरूपता गराउने निर्णय बालुवाटारमा सार्वजनिक हुनेक्रममा कार्यान्वयनको पहिलो चरणमा पुगेको हो,' स्रोतले भन्यो । माओवादीको पछिल्लो विशेष बैठकले पहिरनमा एकरूपता ल्याई समाजमा आफ्नो विशिष्ट पहिचान देखाउने निर्णय गरे पनि पोसाकको रङ र जातबारे खुलाएको थिएन । तर माओवादी नेताहरूले किन भद्र देखिने पोसाक रोजे त ? why the news paper's giving so much importance to those terrorist's Dress up and hairstyle ?

Okay may be we are reading the article based on our own prejudged mind, but i cant see anywehre in the article where they have talked about supression of article. Did they say that they will make that a rule to dress up like that for the whole country or is it just for ppl who are under Maoists payroll? I think it falls under maoists cadres freedom to be able to dress up like THIER beloved or leader. As long as they havent made any ordinary ppl to under Maoists dress code, why is it a supression of freedom. I think its funny for his cadres to follow the way he dresses and his hairstyle. but it doenst affect my freedom in any way and i wouldnt affect the cadre's freedome of selecting their leaders style.

But i think cadres are copying prachanda as in we call it in a corporate world" dress to success". Many gandi followers wore dhoti, many mao followers dressed up like mao, Kennedy's fans dressed up like Kennedy style, some paris hilton wanna be nepali gurls want to dress up like paris hilton. I dont see a big deal wiht that. I think its funny how ppl want to dress up like their bosses regardless of what scenerio they are in.
