I have been so silent reader for couple of weeks.I got an ooprtunity to read a few very good postings here in Sajha. There were many threads created and posted which has very little and no significants in any means. If we analyze all posts in Sajha,we easily understand why we are so behind in a Global race.I do not want to blame anybody here personally. It is not their fault,it is the way we are grown up in our socio economic structure. If you analyze people here in Sajha, you can find more of postings with people of category 1,2 and 3.Driving forces for those postings are simply their own self interest nothing else. 1 ) Bad people : They are lazy and do not want to understand themselves what they are saying.(You all know who am I talking about) 2) Worse people :They know what they are saying and they have capacity to manipulate their statements to promote their interest. 3) Worst People : They even know the negative consequences of their saying, still they want to provoke others and creates confusion in community so that they can take advantage of confusion they have created. 4) Good but not better people: They know what they are doing.they simply follow good path but does not bother about whether others are doing harm or not. 5) Better people : Do good and inspire other to do good things and build better community 6) Best people: Realistic, they do good and lead from the front to do better things.

i think you find those ppl in all walks of life, and i dont agree with your staement- its is the way we are grown up in our socio economic structure - if that was the case..everyone who had grown up in same structure - would fall in your cat 1 & 2..as you've put it. you can find a lotta example in this world..where ppl from less fortuate structure than ours have risen to hidghes adobe, and that is coz they choose to, socio-economc structue is something thats inherited, but its upto you..oneself to control your mentality , perception, and choose or not to choose to be responsible or contribute towards change. no offence..but you talk about us being so far behind in this global race...but i dont see how being a silent reader..without being a part or trying to contribute towards the chage...helps.....you're doing the same thing that ppl do, come back with a problem... anyways...

mansion ji, When we talk about "socio-economic structure"; psychological conditions are already shaped by the social structures too. Again, it can be argued that pyschological condition is intrinsically an internal locus of control or internal, or infact both. Ceteris paribus, the shades of gray are infinite. There are as many catgegories of people as the number of people themselves (itself?). So, even if you choose to "control your mentality , perception," or " not to" you belong to a catergory of your own. And as I told in my earlier thread, he is not an "indifferent" reader, please refer his other posts and you will understand. With respect, meek_misfit

Ratobhaley ji Lets go merry-go-round, and round, and round, and round !!! There could be another group of people who say there are groups who "like to categorize everything according to their limited view of life they have gotten so far". No offence meant.

meek_misfit ji, i dont belive that psychological conditions are shaped permanently thru socio-economic structure, yes to start with our perception, thought process may be influenced by those scructure,,or any socio-ecnomic-political-religious structure for that mattter,,but as our human mind feeds to more knowlege, awareness, it opens up a window where we learn or should learn to be independed from these structure, and have a non-biased perception. and yes, i have read his previous thread, good initiatiave towards trying to put ppl together to contribut to the society, but i am talking about this thread, and moreso, about being "a silent reader" could be anyone...its a conceptual thing, wasnt anything personal towards him, but ya thx for reminding me. with respect, mansion

Kool down kalekancha ji, If you cannot initiate anything, that might also mean it could not even be worth a penny. At least you are generous enough to say "Your logic is worth a penny " !! Great.

Manson,I agree with you that we can find those people in all walks of life. May be ratio of types would be different. Whether we argue in person or in virtual world, we are speaking of our own mind. May be we can find free flow of thought coz they are posting here from background. And Mansion, I do not agree that we are grown up in same structure If we were grown up with same socio economic structure, we would not have come across different kind of people. Yes, I have been trying to be silent reader for a while and I may fall in any of those Six categories. I did not claim to fall in any of those categories. Yes, meek_misfit ,there can be another category of indifferent people .Since A different world cannot be built by indifferent people as philosopher Horace Mann said, they may ultimately fall in one of above categories. Sndy, yes it is true for real world too. Kaalekanchha, you may be right. It may not worth penny. I respect that you have been doing PHD. Degree itself does not worth a penny if you can not justify your degree with your thought process. Thanks Be positive
