an't wait to see pictures of the welcoming committee as well as the protesting committee. Personally I don't give a rats ass who's in town. Readers be careful about the Taak Parey Tiwari Natra Gotameys. I wouldn't be surprised if lots of anti monarchist's bend down and say Hajur hajur garisyosh, hagisyosh when and if they get to be in front of the monarch. There are a lot of anti monarchists here in sajha, hey this is the time for you to do something. You're scared to go back to Nepal to do something about it. Now he's going to be here to challange your guts. What are you gonna do about it? Get your tickets soon it will be cheaper. -------------------------------------------------------------------- सारै चित्त बुझ्ने कूरा गर्र्यो यार , यो कूरा पक्का छ कि धेरै मान्छे नमस्तक भएर झुक्ने छन् ।

Nepalean you got it, It's great opportunity for hardcore anti monarchists like Nepe and Sardarsing to do something about it. If they get to talk face to face with KG, I bet they gonna be like sarkar garisyosh, baksyosh, hajur. For me, if KG comes or goes is like Girija coming and going. But it's time for these hard core anti monarchists to prove that they are not just bakumfusey guffadis. Show us some proof that you're not just all talks.

I wouldn't be surprised if either of them are too busy to even go to New York to make a protest in front of KG, let alone be able to diss KG in any way.

It is a big challenge/ opportunity for those who are in US. Let us observe how democratic you people are. I am sure if you arrange same type of ralley once you did in DC, there will not be even half of them to participate. And for sure neither of them who were on podium will be again in the same place this time. Do or never talk again !!!

Change of plan seems like either Baburam or some indian appointed dhoti ko chamcha will attend NYC UN convention. http://sajha.com/sajha/html/openThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=23098 if this claim of maoist is true nepal will either go into UN/Indian administration or under maoist rule.... Gyanendra is going down but he is pulling all of us down...

Prajatantra that is only wishful thinking. The anti monarchists are only good at wishful thinking or bloated ideologies. When it comes down to doing anything in practice there's not even going to a rat to do chooo choo in front of KG. Talk about hypocrites (at least the majority of them).

Cyptonite you claim that anti monarchist are only good in wishful thinking. Let us say for 1 second I agree with you. Show me at one instance where monarchist have done anything other than dreaming to snatching power away from people. This not only one time every king after Rana regime have given power to people with one hand and snatched with other hand. This process should come to end... Convince me why should I stop protesting again Gyanendra's autocratic regime and start supporting him. He took back power saying democratic forces were ineffective, corrupt and can not run nepal. In this last 6 month, actually 2&1/2 year (he took power in oct 2002) how has the situation in nepal changed is it any different from last 10 years under democracy no... Democratic regime was corrupt: How can you claim current regime corruptionless? It is filled with bank defaulters, and criminals not suspected criminals a proven and indicted criminals... Above all monarch himself is corrupt he is taking away our tax money for his comfort in large chunk.. corruption is still there only the mouth and hand has changed.. Democratic regime was inefficient to curb maoist: Bullshit! how can you claim this regime is effective in dealing with maoist? A considerable part of security force is allocated to arrest and torture democratic forces... with the tyrant attitude international support have gone down... Recent attack yesterday at Kalikot by maoist is proof that they still have ability to overrun RNA bases .... I do not blame brave soldiers of RNA for this loss, its the Tyrant attitude of King and his regime and also some high post RNA staffs responsible for this loss... it was their false dream of snatching power from people that has lead to this loss....

Prajatantra it's all easy to shout slogans against KG from your desktop or in group, but are you willing to go in front of the king and say YOU SUCK to his face? I doubt any one of the posters here who can write multiple ideologic pages here in sajha against KG have the guts to go in front of him and say those things to his face. That's my point. Shouting about how bad KG is within close quarters or within anonymous forum is not going to do any good besides show that you are full of BIG talks and no action. The point is that you don't have the guts to face him and say those things. If you want him out, someone's gotta at least have the guts to face him. If not you or Nepe or sardarsing who have been vocal about KG. Then who? Who's going to bell the cat?

Prajatantra, Nepal was in absolute monarchy. There were criminal elements who were involved in stealing historic monummnets to drug trafickiing. Then came democracy with scarifice of so many people. But worst of all Girija came into power. He was first PM after democracy whom everybody had so much hope. He was there to bring full democracy and law and order. Instead got betrayed. Now look at the situation. The war is against the fedualism. But we need to get the rid of the rats who will make holes sink the ship. Else, the success is unlikely and will just help on going civil war. Here I regard fedualism as both maoists and monarchy. People point out flaws in the current movement. But do not brand them as monarchist. Its time for unity not divison. We all got to unite for the nation. Untill and unless we are strong these leaders will keep taking advantage. If these parties cannot get rid of these rats, how do they expect to bring the required changes.

Exactly as highfly said A snake in the bush is a lot more dangerous. Girija, Makune etc are dishonest and deceiptive hence far more dangerous for the betterment of Nepal than the King and Maoist who are rather honest about their aims. keep rolling...

well cryptonite its a real life not a movie that "one man army" can go infront of tyrant king and kill him or kill his army... Moreover, its his deed i am against of more than him, he still has time to correct his mistakes before he runs out of time... after that it will not only be me or nepe or sardarsing... there will be thousands of me, thousand of nepe and thousand of sardarsing in streets of Nepal protesting against him... If dictators and tyrants like Hitler & Saddam can go down then there is no way Gyanendra will prevail but only the question is how will he go down... I do not want to see my country turn into germany or world war II or into current Iraq... he still has time to stop listening to his idiot brainless advisors and start planning to join hand with people and people's democratic force to save his monarchy and nepal.... Else right now there are 1000s shouting againts him soon it will turn into lakhs and he will have no where to run... When he took back power on oct 2002 even I was supporter of his move, because that point Nepal needed some one to take brave step ... but I was unaware of his greed behind the move... after that his every step started telling the truth about oct 2002 move... Feb 2005 move and his current cabine appointment totally proved that he wants to eliminate democratic force completely and rule nepal autocratically like his father did... but he should understand situation is different now, there is one more army that rules more that 50% of nepal while his army rules only district hq... In this situation if he pushes democratic forces and people more against him, it will be nothing other than giving nepal in maoist hand by himself.... As far as protest in NYC is concerned time will tell who will be there and how many will be there to protest against him... I will not be surprised even him diplomats inside UN willl protest against him given the ignorant attitude he is taking against friendly countries like UK and US... I hope John Bolton will give piece of his mind to gyanendra..... :-)

Prajatantra, My point is that people talk a lot but when it comes to action there is noone there. Let's take your own example. Like lot's of posters in sajha, you might be in the US as well. Are you going to go to New York to protest against the king? Or are you going to give an excuse that you're busy, or you don't have time, or you can't afford go to there, etc. etc. The point is people love to talk big, but when it's time for action, you're not going to be there...

Highfly & Shree 5, I agree with you that girija and makunes are snakes in the bush or rats on the ship... and also agree that we need to bring nation together that divide it.. As I said earlier that I supported gyanendra's move during oct 2002 because I thought the move was to punish and eliminate rats and mouse... but slowly I was proved wrong.. gyanendra started dividing country more than bringing them together.. .he has completely alianated the democratic force and international community by feb1 move and his current cabinet appointees and by curbing basic right of people..... we are clearly seeing the result of his move, security forces resources are being diverted to curb democtratic protest, and maoist are able to over run RNA base... I am not branding anyone as monarchist or anti-monarchist.. but gyanendra should clearly re-analyze his move and start moving towards bringing everyone together and fight against maoist... every nepalese will be ready to follow behind him and fight against rats/snakes and maoist if he shows his honest and clear motive that he is trying to fight again terrorist and rats/snakes.... You can not brand the entire democratic force as anti-nationalist just becuase of few rats/snakes... there is no way gyanendra will be able to win this war without support from people, media and democratic parties... I feel pity for brave soldiers of security forces, they are in war front but part of their resource is devoted in arresting/toturing democratic protestor, editing news paper and supressing democratic movement... this is clearly nothing less than telling soldier to go to remote area and die....

Prajatantra "You can not brand the entire democratic force as anti-nationalist just becuase of few rats/snakes... " The democratic force is not anti nationalistic at all. But the fact is even if we get democracy, these are the RATS that are going to come to power and rule the country. I for one, am not comfortable with that. I for one, am not comfortable about trying to see if these rats are going to mess with the future of millions of people of nepal. I am for practically thinking about how to get new ideals and leaders into our political mainstream and in the political parties so that we go forward and not backward once we earn our democracy. I don't want to earn democracy again like 15 years ago only to see it fizzle away in front of our own face.

Cryptonite last friday's protest by public in ktm street has shown that there are people against king and they are not afraid of his tyrant regime and criminal cabinet... I hope gyanendra will correct his mistake before it is too late... and if it is required to come down to new york and protest against him.. I will be there to support the group protesting against his move and his autocratic rule...

cryptonite but tell me how will current regime will let you bring good leaders into political mainstream... this regime is supressing and curbing all the rights and will not even let you ask question against govt decision..... Your head will be crushed before you can raise it... You plan is good if we had time, but there is maoist ruling more that 50% of country and are winning war faster... I mean if you give this regime more time it is likely that either our country will go in maoist hand or foreign hand... right now to save soveirginity of our country this regime has to go, gyanendra nad parties should come to same side...
