Hey You all Ascolian:

May be some of you (from my batch) would probably remember one of nepali actress Ms. Alina Shrestha (I'm not sure about her surname) who came to Ascol for her ISc. I remember guys roaming after her. Once something embarrassing happened with me. Although enrolled in evening bio session, I used to attend morning class. And, once I was bit late to class and every one was already seated with teacher in class. If you remember this is the class on second floor to the extreme right end of the building. This was Bio class. As I was about to enter class, one punk(I forgot his name, but was dada of that time) stopped me and asked me handing one cheat in my hand to pass it to Ms.Alina in the class. First, he tried gentle way, asked me that he would give me 5 rupees for that, which when failed threatend me to walk off from there. So embarrasing, happened infront of some who were noticing this.
I think Alina acted in few movies before she flew to US. After that, she has not been heard of in kollywood.

I think i was in the same batch as you. I was in physical group though. Yagya Sharma was hostel warden and later he was replaced by Rishi Nepal during my stay there. I also took physics tution with Rakesh and also went to Thahity coaching in second year. Swantantra, Palak and Man Bahadur VK were coaching instructors for physics, chemistry and math.

I did not go to TAHITI for coaching thouh, sounds like we were in the same batch. his name is something Lama, they burnt basketball board to celebrate Shavaratri. Do you remember this? BTW, where are you now?

I don't remember that Lama but I think Dinesh DC was among them who burnt Basket ball court i think. Am i correct?

Makar, You are right, he was one of them. I did not stay in the hostel. But most of my friends Arun, Amrit, Dinesh Khatiwoda, they were there. do you know any of them?

If you stayed at ASCOL hostel in ISC, u should probably know Kamal Koirala, Ajaya Shrivastava, Buddhi Sapkota, etc. They were all in BIO group.

I could not remember any of these names. There was a Amrit senior than me. I think he was from Lamjung.

Makar, you are right, Amrit was one year senior than me and we both were from Lamjung.

reading these stories such as Tendi's fight wiht someones, Alina (same batch), etc. reminds me all of my 2 years at ASCOL (1992-94).

Oh! reminds my old days in ASCOL, 90 Batch physical morning .Do remember Madan sir, Rakesh sir(physics) and of course Mohan dai ko Mesh in hostel. Can't forget those happy days in ASCOL.

Dinesh DC, Tendi and all those fight and Ramkrishna Dhakal song on Newcomer welcome program seems like yesterday. Keshab, Kumar gurung were the contemporary ANFSU members.

Those violenc infront of ASCOL reminds me my old 90's democratic movement participation.I think ASCOL brothers are stil carrying the legacy.

Can we have some get together program among ASCOLite in US. Probably, we can can meet all ex-ASCOL in ANA convention in NY-NJ

When you guys say about Giving cheat to ALINA that must be Shiva (mandalle). I know he used to follow her all the way to her house and she walks into her house and he will just turn around and come back to ASCOL. I heard he is a pshycho ( matter of fact) I met him once at Thamel and the friend of mine told me that he true is. Back in 90's Dinesh DC used to ride his sasoorali ko seto Kinetic honda. When I say Dineshe earlier in the thread I didn't mean him. I meant Dinesh (Govinde ko putro). I never heard about burning Basketball board. I must have been here in US when this happened. I know dinesh Dc didn't know how to bounce basketball but all those guys Tendi, suyesh, Prafull were behind him to get a role on santosh panth's show. Dinesh used to join them in the court and is willing to play and we all used to make fun of him.
