Dear all, As I have mentioned in earlier posting also, I am here out-of-status from F1 and if I want to apply to Australia, Canada or Uk for student visa from here in US, should I have to present my status in the United States? Since I have been provided with a student visa until Nov 2007 in the United States, I mean I have a visa that expires on this date, are there any possibilities that I can use the same passport when I apply for the Student visa? Do these country's embassies ask my status. Does anyone have some nice ideas?

You'd be better off applying from Nepal and I don't think they would be interested in knowing if you've been out of status in US. Good Luck !

shiva, yea, they will ask the evidence of your legal status in this country. If they find that you are out of status, they will simply reject you( I am talkin about the UK). The same incident happend to one of my friends. They just rejected him becos he was out of status here. You should consult a lawyer about it. However, I really dont see any hope to get reinstated once you are out of status unless cowboy does something. He also seems to be bit quiet now after all those big promises that he made before election. About your good intention joining college, i would suggest you to do some good research on schools who really dont care about your legal status in the US,which is very rare though. why dont you visit some low profile community colleges; call them and ask about it; tell them you need those information for your friend. Finally, my suggestion is earn some good bucks before you decide to leave this country.
