Hi guys need your help. I am eligible to apply for citizenship in US but my problem is i did not register at Selective Service. I was 24 when i entered in US and 30 now. I did not know i have to register within 26 years at that time and it's too late now. Anyone knows what should i do? I look at ss site but it is not clear about after 26 years. Should i stay as PRor go ahead and apply for citizenship. i will really appricate if someone who was in same situation and applied for citizenship.

Well it is necessary to that but it is too late now. I have not heard anybody denied because of that reason but if they are not satisfied with other stuff they can use this against him. I think you should hire a lawyer for this matter. Please reach me for further consultation at 703 8488855 or 6262769. Thanks
