Norton 2006 Phone Activation Method

Step 1: Install the prog. with any valid serial that i wrote up

Step 2: After inital install, the Program will reboot the computer and attempt to find the Internet.

Step 3: DO NOT CONTINUE!! - Unless you ensure that ALL Internet connections are disabled after the reboot - Unplug the network cable (and modem cable, if any) attached to the computer!! - Failure to follow this critical step will corrupt the installation process!!

Step 4: After reboot, the Program will be unable to find the Internet, and it will give an error message - Ignore the error message and tell the Program to continue.

Step 5: The Program will eventually present the option for phone activation - Select that option!

Step 6: Select the country in which the Program is being installed.

Step 7: Type zeros ('0') for all of the spaces provided for the activation key except the last three ones - which should be the numbers: 365 (e.g.: 000000, 000000, 000000, ...., 000365) or the ones listed below:- Choice of last 3 nos:- 150 = 350 Days subscription 365 = 869 Days subscription 850 = 2128 Days subscription 999 = 2457 Days subscription Use any one as u like...

STEP 8: Select Next and wait for the Program to indicate that you have successfully activated the product. If the Program launches an Internet Explorer (IE) page - Close the IE page - Do NOT enter any data into ANY IE page associated with this install! Skip the registration also if occurs.

STEP 9: Connect to Internet and run LiveUpdade.

(NOTE:- You may have to reboot the computer more than once in order to fully complete the install process, including a full system scan. Again, Do NOT enter any data into any IE page that might be launched.)

You can now enjoy an activated version with 869 days' subscription (or any other as listed above). It's really a mystery for the activation key but it really works. It's working on LiveUpdate and no popup windows appears on the screen!!!

I did install and it was successful. This was the key displayed after installation.

By the way, I used "activation via phone" option as described above byNotNepali.

Read this too, while installing !

1st) Disconnect internet.
2nd) Install Norton AntiVirus 2006.

- When you see "Unable to verify signature. Do you wish to continue with the installation?
just click "Yes".

3rd) Enter Serial: VYB7V-BBVRW-VTXF4-T9KKP-F69W2

- During installion if you see

* Norton AntiVitus has encountered an internal program error.*
* UninsTall and re-install Norton AntiVirus" *

- Don't worry about it just click "OK". Don't follow what it said.

- Completed restart your computer.

- Norton will run itself after your computer restart.

- Remember to DISCONNECT YOUR INTERNET!!!

4th) When Norton window appear just click "next" until your see the Activate By Phone window.

5th) Activate By Phone Enter: 000000-000000-000000-000000-000000-000000-000000-000000-000999

6th) "Cancel" or "Close" the online account setup window.
7th) Connect back your internet.
8th) Done!!! Now you can do what ever things you want.
