When I was little girl, my grandfather used to read me Ramayana. The story used to fascinate me. Now after all these years, I want to know the story from Ravana’s perspective. I’ve been following a TV serial based on Ravana and I’m finding it really interesting.

It’s been a boring Monday morning. Wanted to open a new thread to see how my friends in Sajha were doing :)

By the way, there was a very funny scene..
Keski (ravana's mom) is trying to seduce Vishrava..and that isn't too dificult :)..His wife (Kuber's mom) doesnt' like it..Vishrava tells his wife "it's Arya dharm ko birudh not to fulfil the wish of someone who has come to ones doorstep" re..and that she was not following arya dharm re..that was the funniest scene..
His wife asks, "r u really worried about arya dharm or r u attracted to her" That's so funny !!

I recently had visited some temples and found Sri Panchamukha Hanuman.


Every Face of Sri Panchamukha Hanuman has significance —
* Sri Hanuman faces east. He grants purity of mind and success.
* The Narasimha faces south. He grants victory and fearlessness.
* The west facing Garuda removes black magic and poisons.
* The north facing Varaha, showers prosperity, wealth.
* The Hayagriva mukha faces the Sky. But since we cannot see it, it is usually tilted and shown above Hanuman's face. Hayagriva gives Knowledge and good children.

Ok here goes...last episode ma they showed that daitya raj went to stay with Keski because he wanted to instill daitya sanskar into Ravana.. Funny thing was they showed that daityas had all the guun that we have at present. Maacha masu khane, dhilo samma sutne, madira paan garne...So the question is....r we daityas??

Daitya samskar.. I just remember something.. when I first came to this country about 8 years ago one of my friend said... seeing some Kaale Jantus in US.. he thinks there was definitely Rakchas in ancient times...

Rawan le derai atyachar gareko thiyo bramin haru lai. sapt risi lai kora le hanera nikaleko ragat rawanko buri le piucha ani she gets pregnent. ani tyo bachha jamin ma gadcha ani later janak le halo bata Sita paucha re. i saw it once in a TV serial(there are many versions of ramayan ni).
ani shiva parvati ko lanka darbar ma aayeko rawan/kuber ko dad ho, not rawan. parvati curses him.

im still watchen Ramayana n Mahabharat, but don kno bout Rawan version. I hav heard SriLankan worships Rawan re.
