What the hell!
It’s so much frustrating to see that all we Nepalese have lost our dharma ….no one, right from the politicians to a common men, all in the mind and in the work, are corrupt. I want to draw attention of all to a very minute but disheartening thing that I well and truly believe, should be raising our voice against. Have a look at the photo closely…….

http://cybernepal.com.np/model_gallery_wide.php?gal_id=1061&image_id=21062

I don’t think this photo has been posted with the consent of the model. She herself may or may not figure out what the difference between the pose she gave and the pose shown by the photographer in the website. The photo is blurred or tampered just to add flavor to the website and attract the viewers. Is it logical/ethical to do this??? Or is this LEGAL?? I certainly don’t think so. The photo should have been posted in the same manner as it has been posed by the model and not by fabricating it with the software tools like photoshop or something. Cybersansar should apologies not only us but to the model herself for such inhuman and weird act. I know, some might say that I am exaggerating a small incidence,or but being the computer professional myself, I can assure you all that this is a well planned act which cannot be forgiven at any cost. I currently live in the united states and I can assure you that, had the same task been done by American sites, the editor would have been sacked by now and the website would have been closed or had to may millions for the violation of human right. We, the green passport holders have also our right to say and protest for the same. Modeling is no bad and I don’t find any fault on the part of the model, its the concerned web editor who is to take the responsibility………………please do have your say on this ……lets change ourself in order to make a NAYA NEPAL

Bandre, I agree to you that any photos publicized/and or modified without the consent of the person it belongs to is a serious offense and must be voiced against. But, in regard to your statement above, you say - " I don't think this photo...." which is more of your opinion than the fact. I am not convinced about the consensus thing. I would believe if the participants themselves spoke. We need the reality, for example testimonials from both sides -  the person being photographed and the photographer/editor, and see what clauses or consensus ensued or transpired prior to photo shoot. If that consensus has been breached by either party then certainly legal actions must be taken by the concerned and such actions must be condemned and reprimanded by all of us.

Ya, haangpang i agree with you.....but my point is that the snap would have been same as that is published except the reotuch, if model had accepted to do that. But retouching the photo in such a manner gives a clear clue that something is wrong....right??.

Bandre,

U hold gr8 point that people in Nepal ,from doctors to photographers and others, do things in their own way without the consent or acknowledgement of ordinary citizens/. But here, I guess that the model must have already looked at her pics, and she is fine with the photoshops.

Well most of these photographers have no idea on taking a picture, and above all what can ya say about these unoriented editors???? When i look at these pictures i am bewildered to the point where i am at loss of words. There are numerous Nepali Websites and Magazines where the photographs taken doesnt even make sense. If they really wanted to imitate these western cultures then i would first tell them to study it first and learn how these western counterparts do it.

It looks like Muna is Bandre's someone, or why would he has to worry a lot while the concerned one is not????  NEpal is like " You can do whateva u Like, u can have whateva u like". So if we wanna bring a change , we have to be united , not on words n literature but in practice.
