Hi guys, this is to announce the test transmission of Radio Sajha : An Iinternet radio station playing nepali music and nepali programs which aims to be free as in * Freedom * ( needless to say, it will also be free as in * absolutely free of charge * ) .
I haven't made any concrete plans as of yet but for this test transmission, you can listen to what's playing on my computer right now (not necessarily nepali) .Here is how to listen to it:
1) Using Windows media player:
Go to File Menu. Select Open URL and type
http://time.and.again.arch119.kicks-ass.org:8000
and click OK.
2) Using Winamp
Go to File Menu. Select Play URL and type
http://time.and.again.arch119.kicks-ass.org:8000
and click OK.

I want it to be a platform where songs of Young nepali artists and programs of nepali RJs would be aired. Not only should every body have the right to listen to , everybody should also have the right to host a program .That's the philosophy driving this attempt.
I want to air a debate between Ashu and Nepe as the first program. Anybody wants to produce the program ? ;-)
Comments, ideas, feedbacks about the quality of the transmission will all be highly appreciated.
