youngbloodz, having done these events before, simply put the orgs are here to make money. It has to be a win-win proposition for them since they invest their own funds into bringing Prashant here. Also, depends on the time-limit on the visa as it seems that the schedule has been set already. If you can show that the numbers make sense, they may be willing to listen (hope they would, as I would if I were them). However, since you claim that Houston and Dalls is no big issue, why don't you come over and support the concert in Dallas? Same thing, ain't it?
And nothing to say, suck my balls and go join the line for the Nepali Tara audition, you goddamn attention seeking whore!! Talk shit again and I'll have the gharials in Chitwan eat you alive fugger!!

Shanti, Shanti now...
Everything will be explained in a few days about why we couldn't do it in certain places, and why we could only do it in a few places where it's happening now.
For now, for sure, in the U.S., it's only happening in
December 1, 2007 - Washington, DC, December 2, 2007 - Boston, Massachusetts
December 8, 2007 - New York City December 9, 2007 - Atlanta, Georgia. . .
Please understand that some of us who are involved in this show are just like you - just a normal guy who's making a living doing other things but are happy to jump to anything that could bring a Nepali artist or two in this country, the United States.... so, to speak.

Who da fug is this Narayan cat and what has he to do with the Prashant concert? Poon, this event is being organized by some of NYC's esteemed folks who I guarantee are good people with no fraudulent intentions at all. One of them did the Tsunami concert where Nima and Raju were brought into the US for the first time (when they both returned) and ALL profits was given to to the UN for the Tsunami Relief, so that in itself tells you how it is.

Indian won it again, and its happening the way they wanted…well i was just curious why people like Samsara, i don’t think he is II audience given the choices, and Houstongys were ‘divided’.....
Preferring Prasant Tamang as II was win-win for the Indians from New Delhi. One of the most visible unsettled population since 47, the Bhot-Burmeli community from Northeast India had consolation in the sense ‘after all one of them or close to them is the II winner so Amit ...â€. So, opting Prasant in place of Amit was not that bad.
By selecting Prasant as Indian Idol, the Indians scored in Nepal too by ‘dividing’ people. One section of the society feels or sees the happening of P. Tamang as triumph over the past social or political ‘ruler’ of Nepal. People from Purba, especially from Dharan and Biratnagar, crossed Mechi in support of Prasant, but nobody cared when some pounded statue of Bhanubhakt in Dharan. The Indians did not stop there as they could spawn extra space in the mind and heart of other common Nepalis too...no matter where were they home or abroad..
take it easy and simple...all my personal thought and nothing out of narrow mindedness against any person or community...

Samsara, Samsara....chill bro. I was just making sure its not Mr. Shrestha, coz i have heard enough of his cases. I was just concerned. I am sure the people from NYC are good organizers and helpful people as ssNY mentioned.
